Finding Your Path Forward
What path to soul care is right for you? The fact that you are here means you are curious about how you can prioritize your soul, to explore and discover where you can grow, and how you can hear from God. Regardless of which path, they all involve listening well and paying attention to what you are hearing.
Individual Spiritual Direction
Meeting one-on-one in spiritual direction is an opportunity to confidentially share what is going on in your life: the questions you are asking yourself, the decisions that you need clarity to make, the losses you want to grieve, the turmoil to be quieted, the disappointments, the celebrations.
It is also a place to find companionship in listening to what God might be saying about all those needs and desires. He is speaking and we can learn to listen.
Session Details:
Between 60-90 minutes.
In person or via Zoom.
Fees are on a sliding scale based on your ability to pay and range from $50 - $75 a session. (See the FAQ section if finances are an issue.)
Group Spiritual Direction
Group spiritual direction is an opportunity to listen to God together with usually four other people with likeminded desires.
Confidentiality among the group is paramount and all learn to provide space to listen to one another and to God as a group.
As with all spiritual direction practices, advice giving and “fixing” is not the priority; learning to discern the voice of God together is.
Session Details:
90 minutes in person or on Zoom based on the group.
Requires a commitment of four sessions to preserve the continuity and formation of the group.
Fees are $25 per person, per session.

Soul Care Retreats
Silence and contemplation are key practices for listening well to your experience and what God might be saying. A contemplative soul care retreat is an opportunity to combine a half-day, full-day, or weekend personal retreat to devote focused attention to listening to God.
Retreat Details:
The beginning and ending of the retreat include a spiritual direction session.
Materials will be provided to assist you in contemplating scripture, journaling prompts, and prayer.
Fees vary based on the desired retreat.
I will be happy to work with you to create a contemplative retreat that serves your needs.
Enneagram Formation
Enneagram is a valuable personality construct that has been used for centuries for insight into why we do what we do. This increased self-awareness can be a means for personal and spiritual growth as well as insight and repair in relationships.
Using the enneagram for spiritual formation means I am not approaching this specifically as an enneagram coach. While I can help you discover where you likely land within the nine types of the enneagram, our work will go a bit deeper to understand what that really means and uncover how you are actually living throughout all nine types.
This insight can help you understand your life and motivations and how you can better care for your soul. I use the WEPSS assessment tool – a 200-question online instrument - to open a window into the way you are living and responding when under stress and those that lead you in times of ease.
The insights and collaboratively developed practices for formation can help you experience more freedom in your life by being more aware of who you are. There are many ways to use the enneagram with spiritual direction and soul care and I would be happy to talk about how the enneagram might be helpful for you.

“We travelers, walking to the sun, can’t see
Ahead, but looking back the very light
That blinded us shows us the way we came,
Along which blessings now appear, risen
As if from sightlessness to sight, and we,
By blessing brightly lit, keep going toward
That blessed light that yet to us is dark.”
- Wendell Berry
“Laura is compassionate and insightful, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for reflection and growth.”
